I ship in plastic mailing bags - without question. after 27 years sending fabric, threads and paper and seeing what happens when mail hits a wet porch, snow bank or mud puddle - my responsibility is to make sure package gets thru unscathed - it takes plastic - i recycle every where else in my life and always have BUT your merchandise should be delivered dry and safe.

Missing Packages Via USPS
TRACKING NUMBERS ON EVERY PACKAGE. i have no control and no more information except that tracking number. my job ends after usps has entered it into their system.

I cannot pay for postal insurance - which is useless anyway. i have no more control than you do.
Etsy has a refund program now for packages not received - BUT - it is only accessible to you as a buyer - not to me as the seller so you need to fill out the forms - i am not allowed to do that BUT finally, there is SOME recourse.
